What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Ensure patients are accurately registered for all service lines and perform eligibility verification
– Maintain effective communication with clinical partners to enhance patient access and service
– Provide timely coverage in assigned work areas to facilitate prompt patient service
– Conduct insurance verification and authorization, ensuring compliance with CMS standards
– Actively participate in department meetings and contribute to a positive team dynamic
What is Required (Qualifications):
– High School Diploma or equivalent
– Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting
– Strong time management skills and ability to maintain attendance and punctuality
– Experience in insurance verification or patient access preferred
– Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with diverse teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– One year of direct patient access experience
– Prior experience in collections
– One year of customer service experience
– Associate’s degree in a related field
