Description: As a flight attendant, you will be responsible for providing a safe and comfortable flight experience for all passengers. Your duties will include assisting passengers in emergencies, administering basic first aid, securing the cabin before takeoff and landing, and reassuring passengers during turbulence. You will also conduct preflight briefings, ensure that necessary supplies are on board, and assist with special requests. Additionally, you will inspect and clean the aircraft, conduct periodic cabin checks, and complete necessary paperwork. Finally, you will operate the audio and video systems.
Requirements:
– To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a strong foundation in aviation safety and customer service. A college degree and fluency in one or more foreign languages are preferred but not required. Candidates must have at least two years of experience as a corporate flight attendant and be knowledgeable of Federal Aviation Regulations and First Aid.
– While formal flight attendant training from reputable institutions like Flight Safety, FACTs, or similar is highly desirable, candidates with exceptional qualifications and experience may be considered without it, provided they complete initial training before flight assignments. Preference will be given to those who have recently completed such training.
– Successful candidates must demonstrate a high level of technological proficiency, flexibility, and patience. Additionally, should possess culinary skills and have undergone relevant training.
– The ability to adapt to a constantly changing schedule, including late-night flights and short-notice deployments (within 2-3 hours), is essential. Candidates must also have unrestricted travel privileges worldwide and be prepared to deploy for up to 16 consecutive days.
– Candidates must be proficient in operating all cabin management systems, galley equipment, and cabin features, including berthing seats and converting the divan into a bed.
– Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, meticulous attention to detail, and experience working with small children are highly valued.
Physical Requirements:
– Flight attendants must possess excellent vision, correctable to 20/20 or better.
– They must be able to hear clearly and communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
– Physical stamina is essential, as flight attendants often stand for extended periods, up to 14 hours, and work in various climates.
– They must be able to walk, stand, climb, stoop, kneel, bend, and lift supplies weighing up to 30 pounds.
– Additionally, they must have the strength to push open or pull closed the main cabin door, which can weigh up to 130 pounds.
