About the role:
Provide short term, solution focused treatment to individual adults and/or couples referred to you by our EAP Counseling staff
Conduct 45-minute counseling sessions via telephone and/or video
Assess clients to determine if they need assistance or additional treatment beyond the EAP sessions and work with other members of the KGA team to assist clients in finding additional resources as needed
Caseload will depend upon hours worked. Number of sessions available to each client will be determined by employers EAP contract (usually 3-8 sessions)
We are looking for someone with:
Masters Degree in Social Work or Counseling
A minimum of 3 years post graduate experience
LICSW, LMHC or PhD (must be licensed to the highest degree in MA) Licensure in other New England states is a bonus
Foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Experience with solution focused work. Trauma informed care, substance misuse, couples treatment, stress management, mindfulness, and grief counseling experience preferred. Culturally competent with diverse, multi-cultural, and LGBTQIA+ populations; bilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus
Considerations:
We are looking for full or part-time Counselors for evenings and/or weekends.
