What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Obtain and process authorizations for patient reorders
– Resolve patient issues and ensure accurate processing via phone and documentation
– Ensure patients have all required medical documentation for billing services
– Handle inbound and outbound calls from patients physicians and referral sources
– Maintain a strong understanding of medical documentation and insurance requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
– Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent
– Proficient computer literacy, including strong keyboarding skills
– Strong attention to detail and exceptional multi-tasking abilities
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Customer service experience preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– Previous experience in a healthcare-related customer service role
– Familiarity with medical documentation and insurance processes
– Ability to demonstrate strong phone and email etiquette
– Experience working in a fast-paced call center environment
