What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Assist patients in resolving billing issues, handling complaints, and setting up payment plans
– Document customer complaints and interactions in the appropriate systems
– Track trends in customer service encounters and recommend resolutions to the supervisor
– Provide training and support to new Customer Service Representative I colleagues
– Communicate and follow up with stakeholders on customer service activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
– High school diploma or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
– Up to 3 years of experience in revenue cycle functions within a healthcare setting
– Previous service or call center experience with strong customer service skills
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

– Experience in a complex, multi-site environment
– Completion of regulatory/mandatory certifications and skills validation competencies
– Strong interpersonal skills in interacting with diverse customers
