Position: Customer Service Representative/Social Worker full time, 6-month contract
Location: Pasadena, CA 91107
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5:00pm
Pay rate: $25-27p/h
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Working with high-needs In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) recipients, often in emergency situations or needing help understanding how to navigate their county and state public assistance, such as IHSS and Medi-Cal.
– Handle inbound calls and correspondence
– Resolve all aspects of customer inquiries, provide accurate and timely responses
– Handle inbound calls and correspondence
– Enter accurate information into the database
– Collaborate with various staff members to ensure seamless operations.
– Maintain records and ensure proper documentation.
– Light administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and envelope packing
– Handle email and phone inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.- Recent graduate with Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field, such as Psychology, Sociology, or Counseling
– 1-3 years’ experience in social work or homecare administration
– Previous Call Center or Customer Service experience
– Microsoft Office proficient
– 40 wpm
– Background screen after acceptance of job offer
