What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Utilize multiple benefits verification tools to locate benefits and process specialty medication claims
– Make outbound calls to contact healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to facilitate medication fulfillment
– Handle incoming and outgoing calls while gathering patient and order information
– Build rapport with patients, discussing therapy changes on targeted medications
– Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient therapy adherence
What is Required (Qualifications):
– Must be 18 years old and possess a High School Diploma or GED
– Availability for a full-time schedule, which may include weekends
– Professional positive attitude and courteous telephone etiquette
– Customer-focused personality with a desire to help people
– Willingness to submit to a drug test and background check
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– Knowledge of healthcare insurance and requirements for dispensing prescriptions
– Experience in educating customers and conducting routine assessments
