Cybersecurity Summer Intern (Hybrid, NC)

Join RTX Corporation’s Enterprise Services team to assist with cybersecurity vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:
• Assist with vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts
• Research emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies
• Collaborate with the team to update security policies and procedures
• Provide support for user awareness training on cybersecurity best practices

About You:

Candidates must have:
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Cybersecurity
• Not graduating before August 2025
• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office
• U.S. citizenship

Preferred qualifications include:
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Prior coursework or personal projects in cybersecurity

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range for this role is $37,000 – $82,000. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Eligibility for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs is possible.
