Job Responsibilities –
– Utilize current techniques to analyze and extract data in order to uncover growth prospects
– Define, create, and manage data cleaning and processing processes that are efficient
– Examine and correct data that has been corrupted
– Create databases, oversee data gathering, and write scripts, to maintain flexible and scalable data evaluation procedures
– Work with management and technical teams to establish essential metrics and KPIs, as well as their analytical requirements
– Provide actionable information to various stakeholders to assist them in making well-informed decisions
– Analyze quantitative data, prepare reports, and present results
– Develop, deploy, and manage cutting-edge data analysis systems to address complex issues
– Determine and implement data acquisition and integration logic to guarantee optimal performance and scalability of the systems
Minimum Requirements –
– Bachelors/Masters Degree/MA or Ph.D. with a focus in Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, or Engineering
– 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, or a Business Analyst (rare exceptions for highly skilled candidates)
– Strong understanding of data mining, data models, segmentation techniques, and database design development
– Ability to structure, analyze, and extract data according to business requirements
– Experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL), or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, MATLAB)
– Applied statistics or experimentation (i.e. A/B testing) experience in an industry setting
– Experience with programming languages and frameworks such as Python, JavaScript, XML, and ETL
– Fluency in English to collaborate with engineering managers
– Work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
