Job Description:
We are looking for a highly organized and knowledgeable DSO/Student Services Manager to support international students and manage student services operations. This role will primarily focus on F-1 visa processes, international student compliance, and ensuring an excellent student experience.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the Designated School Official (DSO) for SEVIS and manage all aspects of F-1 visa compliance, including issuing I-20s and maintaining accurate student records.
• Provide guidance and support to international students on immigration matters, enrollment, and academic progress.
• Develop and manage student services initiatives to enhance the overall student experience.
• Coordinate with admissions, academic advisors, and faculty to support international student success.
• Ensure compliance with SEVP regulations and report updates in a timely manner.
• Organize virtual workshops and informational sessions for international students.
• Respond to student inquiries and resolve issues related to visas, housing, and academic concerns.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, International Relations, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DSO or in student services, with expertise in F-1 visa processes.
• Knowledge of SEVIS and SEVP regulations is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
• Experience supporting international students in higher education is highly desirable.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 20 per week
