Description:
• Manages and leads collaborative business planning with strategic goals to develop and execute key partnership initiatives.
• Contacts/visits customers to identify strategic direction, problem areas, and opportunities for product growth.
• Develops Account Business Plans including goals, key initiatives, and new product recommendations.
• Develops relationships with key decision makers, both internal and external.
• Collaborates with local bottling partners and builds sales capability.
• Develops direct supply chain strategy for driving efficiencies.
• Keeps abreast of competitive activities and communicates appropriately.
• Collaborates with cross-functional representatives to ensure resource delivery.
• Leads stewardship routines that measure partners’ activities against agreed plans.
• Activates category innovations at national and local levels.
• Champions change to eliminate barriers to provide the highest level of distributor service.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• At least 5 years of national sales experience within the beverage or CPG industries.
• Ability to lead, prioritize, collaborate, and execute complex projects.
• Knowledge of relationship management and third-party supplier/contractor culture and core competencies is required.
• Understanding of supplier capabilities and performance to enhance and manage relationships, specifically with foodservice distributor suppliers.
• Supply Chain operations and transportation expertise needed.
• Ability to seek alternatives and recommend best solutions that gain support from all parties.
• Skills: Customer Management, Exemplary Communication Skills (Written & Verbal), Strategic Planning, CPG Beverage, Strong Negotiating Skills, Stakeholder Influencing, Prioritization.
