Job Description
Disney VIP Tours represents the legacy of our founder, Walt Disney, by providing a seamless, elevated Guest experience. We are searching for a team of College Program Cast Members that will be deployed across the Walt Disney World ? Resort to provide ancillary support to tour guides and Guests during our operational day

This role is 95% conducted in outdoor elements of all kinds and requires tremendous guest service skills and understanding of the property and the Premium Guest experience. Ideal candidates will provide enhanced, steadfast, and intentional service at park arrival and departure locations (private, backstage valet locations), parade viewing, and nighttime spectacular viewing locales, while also offering ad hoc service to guides as we continue to provide outstanding elevated experiences to our Guests.

The rate of pay for this role will be $17.85 per hour.

To be considered for this opportunity, all applicants must meet these guidelines:
Have had a valid US driver s license for three full calendar years or longer (at least since today s date in 2021)
Be comfortable working both inside and outdoors in all weather conditions
Be driven by the need to improve the Guest experience in a myriad of ways
Be able to work as a teammate, sharing the stage with full support to the primary VIP Tour Guide of the traveling party
Be knowledgeable of the Walt Disney World ? Resort property and roadways
Be comfortable driving without GPS assistance for various behind the scenes and guest facing needs
Be comfortable and skilled at parking maneuvers and be called to approach driving with safety and excellence as top of mind
Be comfortable maneuvering a wide range of vehicle types without trepidation and with safety and protection of the fleet and assets from damage as a priority
Be able to safely navigate various elements of weather, including drenching rain to extreme sun
Have an awareness of Disney Parks and think one step ahead of the Guest experience, anticipating needs of the team to support the VIP Guest experience
Be attuned to professional delivery, self-awareness, and social cues that welcome and/or limit interactions based on individual Guest(s) and/or group preference(s)
Be open to continued and detailed feedback, able to implement and deliver corrections as required
Candidates currently participating on a Disney Program must meet these guidelines:
Must have arrived May 6, 2024 or later and be fully available through at least May 2025.
Have no more than FOUR (4) attendance points within the last six (6) months (not including early shift releases or authorized days off); No more than ONE (1) reprimand within the last six (6) months.
A $240 non-refundable extension Program Participation Fee will be collected upon accepting your extension offer. In addition, if you have a registered vehicle here, you will pay a $100 parking decal renewal fee for your extension. If you would like to purchase a new decal for your extension, you will need to pay a $200 vehicle decal fee. You will receive additional communication about when you can purchase a decal via email. Please know that parking decals are limited and available on a first come, first served basis. You MUST have a vehicle pre-registered in DORMS to purchase a parking decal. Please note that if you have already fully accepted an extension in your original role and location, you will not be required to pay another Program Participation Fee
Candidates not currently participating on a Disney Program must meet these guidelines:
Have successfully completed a previous Disney College Program at either the Walt Disney World? Resort near Orlando, FL or at the Disneyland? Resort in Anaheim, CA.
Currently enrolled and taking classes at an accredited US* college, university, or higher education program OR have graduated from an accredited US* college, university, or higher education program within 24 months of the application posting date.
Must have completed at least one semester at an accredited US* college, university, or higher education program by time of program arrival.
At least 18 years of age at the time of application.
Possess unrestricted work authorization within the United States*
Be fully available, including days and nights, holidays, weekends and overtime, beginning in January 2025 through at least May 2025 (specific dates will be discussed during interviews)
Former Disney Program participants must not arrive less than four (4) months after their last departure date.
Candidates who receive an offer will be required to pay the?Program Participation Fee & Housing Fee?within days of their program offer date.
US includes all 50 states plus Puerto Rico and all other US territories.

Valet Operations at Parks
Greet arriving and departing Guests, providing elevated Guest experiences all while upholding safety and service guidelines
Operate vehicles ranging in size from midsize SUVs to extra-large vans
Comfortable with safely performing critical vehicle functions including, but not limited to, backing into parking spaces; maneuvering narrow drive lanes, compact spaces, and heavily occupied parking lots; and delivering/retrieving vehicles for Tour Guides efficiently.
Courteously assist Guests into and out of vehicles
Remain composed during unexpected moments of increased arrival and/or departure demand while maintaining outstanding Guest service and Cast courtesy
Exhibit exceptional time-management, organization, and attention to detail
Proactively anticipate needs and readiness to assist
Foster a continual sense of teamwork and encouragement to fellow colleagues and various operational partners
Pass out bottled beverages and/or pre-packaged snacks to Guests
Conduct various end of day responsibilities, paperwork as well vehicle and amenity replenishment
Parade and/or Fireworks Viewing Area
Secure viewing area on behalf of park operations
Transport varying materials/equipment to and from viewing locations
Greet Guests, answer questions, resolve conflicts, and extend genuine interest in listening to and/or professionally conversing with Guests of the theme park and Guests of Disney VIP Tours
Confirm Guests are with VIP Tours / Premium Services
Comfortability with iPhone applications for check in and guest manifest
Remain in area with Guests until parade and/or fireworks conclude providing exceptional service to park and VIP Tour Guests and fellow colleagues
Provide ad hoc service to VIP Tour Guides while continuing to provide outstanding elevated experiences to our Guests.

Please note that candidates will not be trained or identified as Walt Disney World VIP Tour Guides and should understand their role will be to support and improve the operation in varying and sometimes unusual ways
