Job Description
NOTE: We are ideally looking for candidates who do not want to supplement this role with a full-time role or another part-time position. This role works best for retired educators or for people who are not currently or planning to work full-time.
The Education Consultant facilitates high-quality Professional Development and consulting services to educational stakeholders to promote best practices with Renaissance solutions and ensure customer success. A successful candidate has experience with Renaissance solutions, has utilized data to inform instruction, is an experienced facilitator of Professional Learning, and understands how to work with educational stakeholders. The successful candidate is available to accept virtual/remote or on-site assignments on a regular basis throughout the year.
In this role as a Part-Time Education Consultant, you will:
Provide on-site and remote professional learning for new and current users of Renaissance products to ensure customer success
Utilize adult learning strategies to facilitate engaging, personalized, professional learning on best practices for product usage
Guide educators in using data to accelerate student learning
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders such as teachers and administrators
Maintain accurate records and complete all required documentation
Qualifications
For this role as a Part-Time Education Consultant, you must have:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or related field
Classroom and/or educational administrative experience
Superb consultative, facilitative, and analytical skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong customer service and relationship building abilities at all levels within the school system
Applicants with the following experience will be strongly considered
Use of Renaissance Solutions (Freckle, myON, Star 360, Accelerated Reader, myIGDIs, or Schoolzilla)
Bilingual/Biliterate in English and Spanish.
Planning and delivering professional learning
Early childhood education
Dual Language Programming
