Job Description:
Role: Epicor ERP Application Developer
Location: St Paul, MN
Job Type: Fulltime/Permanent
Summary: This position is responsible for the maintenance, design and enhancement of Epicor ERP applications. Includes working with ERP applications end-users to understand their requirements and to implement user-friendly enhancements to the system. This position is part of a team that supports ongoing user technical requests and assisting with the installation and testing new versions/releases of EPICOR.
Duties/Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
路 Customizing Forms using Epicor Software Development Kit (C#)
路 Developing Epicor Business Process Maps (BPM)
路 Developing Business Application Queries (BAQ).
路 Creating Method Directives
路 Creating Data Directives
路 Creating BAQs
路 Creating Dashboards
路 Deploying patches and upgrades through the Epicor Administration console
路 Developing reports using Sequel Services Reporting Services (SSRS).
路 Maintaining… documentation on changes to supported applications.
路 Communicating with the software vendors on upgrades, patches and technical requests.
路 Assisting in the implementation of other software systems as needed.
Accountabilities:
路 Become proficient with the application development tools required to support existing software applications.
路 Assist with Implementation of new releases of software applications, including testing and validation.
路 Assist in the development of training curriculum and provide training on application software.
路 Work with CIO to prioritize and complete projects and tech requests in a timely manner.
路 Completing internal and external IT training to perform at a high level within the position.
Training/Education/Experience:
路 Understanding of relational databases
路 General knowledge of Epicor’s ERP applications and security
路 Knowledge of deploying patches and upgrades using Epicor Administration console
路 Knowledge of service connect is a plus.
路 Bachelors degree in Information Systems with a minimum four years’ experience in ERP implementation and development, or comparable professional experience.
路 Knowledge of SQL and SSRS.
路 Knowledge of Epicor ERP and Epicor tools.
路 Proficient PC skills.
路 Experience training end users on software systems.
路 Epicor application/technical support experience.
路 C Sharp programming desired.
