About The Role
We are looking for a committed Virtual Special Education Teacher to join our team and provide exceptional support to students in Spokane, Washington. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work with K-12 students in a virtual school setting.
Your Responsibilities
• Create and deliver personalized online lessons tailored to students with disabilities
• Implement and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in a virtual learning environment
• Utilize innovative digital tools to craft engaging and accessible content
• Collaborate with families and fellow educators to ensure student success
• Conduct virtual assessments and provide regular progress updates
What We’re Looking For
• A Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• A current teaching license with a special education endorsement
• At least 4 years of experience in special education
• Proficiency in online teaching platforms and assistive technologies
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
