Flight Attendant Job Responsibilities:
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete work responsibilities.
• Manage unanticipated adjustments in a time-sensitive, stressful situation.
• Answer questions and assist customers as needed, particularly those with special needs or circumstances.
• Demonstrate how to use safety and emergency equipment and ensure that all safety requirements are met.
• Assist customers in lifting and storing luggage into overhead bins.
• When a flight is delayed or meets turbulence, actively seek to ensure the safety and comfort of the passengers.
• Regularly issue public address and safety notifications in accordance with company and government regulations.
• Must be able to perform duties under changing conditions, including physiological impacts at altitude.
• Coordinate emergency procedures and provide care, including CPR and basic first aid, as needed.
• In an emergency, respond to consumers and give them clear and precise directions (verbally and/or nonverbally).

What you need to succeed
• Qualification to work in the United States.
• Be at least 21 years old at the time of application.
• Obtain a high school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English
• Complete a pre-employment Department of Transportation (DOT) drug test and full background check, including the government’s fingerprint-based criminal history record check.
• Ability to sit in an allotted jump seat with the seatbelt and shoulder harness attached.
• Ability to open emergency exits and close aircraft doors weighing up to 60 pounds, and use of a food/beverage cart that requires 32 pounds of force when pushing or pulling.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
