Job Details: Job Description This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Applicants will be considered for Overnight shift openings in our DC. Schedules will be Sunday, Monday and Tuesday 6pm to 6 am and Wednesday 6 pm to 12am. The candidate must… be able to work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 28 to 42 degrees. This job is a fast paced job and requires repetitive motion. Some positions require lifting up to seventy (70) pounds or more. This job also requires constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment, such as, but not limited to, forklifts, standup lifts, etc.. Specialized training for powered industrial trucks required to be qualified within Tyson Foods, Inc. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview. Applicant must be able and willing to follow all operational procedures and safety rules. Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 365 days and are limited to 3 times of employment. This job requires a minimum of 6 months prior experience in one or all of the following skills: Warehouse, Forklift, and/or Heavy Equipment Driving to be considered.
