Job Title: Healthcare Eligibility Representative

Duration: 6+ months- CONTRACT…

Work Arrangement: 100% Remote (No onsite requirement)

Pay- $18

Pay rate: $19.50 /hr on W2

Job Overview:

The Eligibility Representative will deliver essential administrative services in eligibility for benefits and ensure data accuracy and timeliness in eligibility records. The role focuses on managing both automated and manual eligibility data, generating reports to resolve discrepancies, and identifying process improvement opportunities. The position involves working with both internal teams and external clients/vendors, and may require negotiating and resolving eligibility issues. Candidates should be comfortable with both routine administrative tasks and working with technical systems to troubleshoot and resolve errors.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and maintain eligibility data for benefits, both manually and through automated systems.
• Interact with internal partners and external clients/vendors to manage and resolve eligibility issues.
• Generate reports to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
• Provide technical support for electronic eligibility processing, and troubleshooting system issues as needed.
• Ensure customer data is installed and maintained accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with technical systems teams to resolve system-related issues.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement in managing eligibility cases.
• Provide support with manual and automated eligibility processes and reporting tools.

Requirements:
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Work Experience: Prior work-at-home (WAH) experience is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
• Strong computer skills and ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues (setting up equipment, navigating systems).
• Familiarity with eligibility systems, reporting tools, and manual/automated data entry is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong reliability and excellent attendance record.
• Ability to manage routine tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clearly defined procedures.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills to interact with both internal and external stakeholders.

Schedule:
• Training Schedule:
• 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST for 4 weeks (Classroom training).
• Additional 2 weeks of on-the-job training.
• Regular Schedule:
• 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM EST (Monday to Friday), with scheduling based on business needs.

Notes:
• The position is production-based, involving calls but not structured as a traditional inbound call center role.
• Candidates must have reliable internet access and experience in working remotely
