Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Case Manager to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This remote role will be responsible for managing a caseload of 28 students, with the potential to deliver direct services depending on student needs (more details to be discussed during the interview). The position follows standard school hours, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
• Case Management: Oversee and manage IEPs for 28 students, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Communication: Regularly update and collaborate with students, families, and school staff to track student progress and adjust goals as necessary.
• Coordination: Schedule and lead IEP meetings, evaluations, and updates to ensure continuous support and compliance.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and services provided.
• Direct Services: Potential for direct service provision based on student needs (this will be clarified during the interview process).
Required Qualifications:
• Licensure: Valid California credentials and necessary clearances.
• Experience: Previous experience in special education case management and IEP oversight.
• Skills: Strong understanding of IEP processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Independence: Ability to work autonomously while managing a caseload in a remote setting.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in using remote learning tools and platforms for communication and service delivery.
Schedule & Term:
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Duration: Position is available immediately and runs through June 4, 2025 (or until filled).
