What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Monitor and report on abuses of religious freedom and positive developments in assigned areas
– Conduct research and prepare reports on the actions of foreign officials related to religious freedom violations
– Travel to designated countries for information gathering and monitoring purposes
– Brief senior officials on significant religious freedom-related developments
– Compile progress reports, strategic plans for outreach, and participate in training workshops
What is Required (Qualifications):
– Minimum of 10 years of experience in policy research and analysis in international relations/affairs
– Knowledge of laws, policies, and regulations regarding human rights and religious freedom
– Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
– Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
– Proficiency in standard software including Microsoft Office Suite
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– Masters or other post-graduate degree in a related field
– Familiarity with various religious traditions and dynamics
– Experience working with government agencies or international organizations
– Sound judgment and strong interpersonal skills
– Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances and competing interests
