Monday – Wednesday Evenings.

Must have some food cooking experience and able to complete TABC Training.

Essential Job Functions
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards).
• Always comply with Mid-Continent Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Always maintain a friendly and warm atmosphere.
• Be familiar with the hotel’s standard operating procedures.
• Interact with all guests and employees in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Ensure the correct and timely setup of all breakfast order functions.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the food area, pre-function space and storage areas including the carpets, walls, walks, windows, and heating/air conditioning units, etc.
• Be familiar with the fire exit and extinguisher location and follow all hotel safety rules.
• Breakdown after the completion of functions and ensure that all equipment and supplies are stored properly.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Prepares and serves the daily complimentary breakfast bar.
• Greets each guest and ensures guests are satisfied.
• Ensures breakfast area is sufficiently stocked at all times.
• Ensures cleanliness of the breakfast and common public area
• Cleans and disinfects bathroom and kitchenette or coffee-preparation areas according to hotel policy.
• Vacuum floors and remove trash.
• Checks complimentary coffee, snacks, and toiletry supplies, restocking according to the provided hotel checklist and policy.
• Notifies the maintenance department of needed maintenance or repairs.
• Takes found items to designated lost and found areas if a guest has checked out.
• Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Medium work – exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the issues raised by co-workers and guests.
• Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.

Education and Experience:
• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
