Responsibilities:
– Answer incoming phone calls and provide assistance to callers according to the account protocol
– Transfer calls to appropriate departments or individuals
– Take messages and relay them to the appropriate person
– Provide information and answer questions according to account settings
– Maintain a professional and courteous phone manner at all times
– Follow phone etiquette guidelines to ensure excellent customer service
– Assist with dispatching duties as needed
Qualifications:
– At least one year of previous answering service/call center experience
– Computer proficiency
– Typing at least 45 wpm with 90% accuracy
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
-Proficiency in English spelling and grammar
– Spanish bilingual is a plus
– Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
– Ability to talk and type simultaneously
– Positive attitude and composure under pressure
– A college degree is not required but is highly desirable.
