Indirect Services Needed from Remote Special Ed Teachers – Must Have Virginia License

Job Opening: Full-Time Remote Special Education Teacher
We are seeking 1-2 dedicated and qualified Special Education Teachers to join our remote team in full-time roles. As part of this position, youÂ’ll deliver indirect services to students who are either homebound or receiving services outside the classroom, supporting them throughout the district.
While Virginia residency isnÂ’t required, candidates must have a valid Virginia Special Education certification. If you’re from out of state, youÂ’ll need to be licensed in Virginia in addition to holding your home stateÂ’s certification.
Responsibilities:
• Provide indirect services to homebound and outbound students
• Prepare student reports for district-wide documentation
• Oversee and update IEPs for assigned students
• Attend virtual meetings when required
Qualifications:
• Valid Virginia Special Education certification
• At least 2 years of experience in a virtual teaching environment is preferred
• Experience managing IEPs
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Comfortable working independently in a remote role
Compensation:
