Key Responsibilities
• Provide virtual instruction tailored to students with special needs, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment.
• Develop and implement effective strategies and accommodations based on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Communicate clearly and effectively with students, parents, and team members, fostering strong relationships and collaboration.
• Utilize virtual teaching platforms, educational software, and assistive technologies to enhance learning outcomes.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities.
• Promote inclusivity, empathy, and respect within the virtual classroom.
• Demonstrate patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude in all interactions.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience delivering virtual instruction to students with special needs.
• Strong understanding of IEPs and the ability to create and implement effective strategies and accommodations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with virtual teaching platforms and educational technology.
