Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Tailored Instruction: Deliver individualized lessons aligned with each student’s IEP to foster their academic success and personal growth.
• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and track student development to ensure they meet learning milestones.
• IEP Development: Collaborate with parents, educators, and support staff to create and adjust IEPs for students, ensuring that their learning objectives are met.
• Parental Communication: Maintain strong relationships with families by providing regular updates on student progress and strategies for support at home.
What WeÂ’re Looking For
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education
• Valid Michigan teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement
• Experience:
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with special needs, preferably in an online environment
