Job Title: Louisiana Virtual Special Education Teaching Position

Job Overview:
VocoVision, in partnership with a K-12 school district in Louisiana, is looking for a skilled and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our remote team. This full-time, teletherapy position allows you to work from home, providing special education services to students with disabilities in a supportive, virtual classroom environment.
As a remote Special Education Teacher through Vocovision, you will have the flexibility of setting your own schedule within the required weekly hours. You will be responsible for delivering specialized instruction, assessing student progress, and working collaboratively with parents and school staff to ensure students’ academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide virtual special education instruction and support to students in grades K-12.
• Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
• Utilize VocoVision’s teletherapy platform to deliver interactive and engaging lessons.
• Assess and monitor students’ progress toward their IEP goals and objectives.
• Collaborate virtually with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student success.
• Maintain detailed documentation of student performance and communicate regularly with stakeholders.
• Participate in virtual team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
• Active Louisiana Special Education Teacher Certification (K-12).
• Experience in special education, including knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
• Comfortable using technology and virtual teaching tools.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a virtual classroom environment effectively.
• Previous experience with teletherapy or remote teaching is a plus, but not required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in a remote setting or with teletherapy platforms.
• Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field (preferred).
Work Schedule:
• Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
• Independent contractor position.
• Flexible scheduling within the school’s operational hours
• Work from home, with the flexibility to set your own hours within the required weekly commitment.
Compensation:
