Marketing Data Analyst B2B High Tech (Remote)
We are looking for a Marketing Data Analyst for a global B2B high-tech company. This role will support data gathering, transformation, analysis, and visualization of financial and operational data for Marketing executive and field decision-making.
This is a 6 month project (extensions possible), 40 hours per week role, remote in the US.
This is a w2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee, health benefits, and 401K offered.
Responsibilities:
Perform a function and service in the Marketing organization that is a critical operational and strategic foundation for planning and execution by providing insights to a data driven organization
Develop visual and interactive dashboards that provide self-service, action-oriented insights to marketers and Global Sales Development leaders and track progress against corporate goals and key performance indicators
Analyze critical business issues, and trends leveraging data from dashboards and other internal data sources
Become a trusted advisor to key marketing stakeholders and present findings to improve Marketing’s contribution to the Sales organization
Partner with team peers, cross-functional business stakeholders, and IT to discover and implement key data driven insights and learnings
Recommend new strategies and ways of measuring Marketing’s performance
Requirements:
5+ years of related experience in working for Marketing or Marketing operations teams at global companies
Self-sufficient in gathering, normalizing, and analyzing data from multiple data sources to support ad-hoc reporting & analysis, intermediate level SQL skills required
Advanced skills with Tableau, data visualization and profiling understanding the best way to display data to tell stories for marketers to make data driven decisions
Advanced skills on MS Excel and manual data management
Intuitive ability to understand what the data is “telling you” versus just reporting numbers
Attention to detail in verifying accuracy and reliability before broadly publishing dashboard updates and results.
Logical thinker that can organize business requirements into functional specifications for technical implementation
Passion for learning and data analysis Self-motivated and curious, asking clarifying questions to research issues, business needs, and underlying processes
Excellent communication and PowerPoint skills to present insights, methodologies, and recommendations to executives and business stakeholders
Bachelors Degree
