What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Handle inbound and outbound calls from participants and prescribers to process order requests
– Verify insurance coverage for new and existing patients to ensure successful prescription processing
– Research and resolve payment issues, providing timely updates to requestors
– Maintain accurate documentation of patient account profiles and referral source data
– Coordinate the delivery and setup of medical equipment and supplies
What is Required (Qualifications):
– Minimum of 1 year in a customer service or call center environment
– 1 year of experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel in a work setting
– Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required
– Strong attention to detail and proven analytical and problem-solving skills
– Ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– 6 months of knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and health insurance
– Experience in a healthcare setting or insurance industry
– Effective and empathetic communication style
– Basic alpha-numeric data entry skills with attention to accuracy
– Intermediate math skills with a focus on detail and quality
