Summary: ThunderYard is seeking a talented Junior/Mid Level Software Engineer to help us with application support for a scheduling product line that will positively impact the lives of millions of Americans. We need a creative engineer with experience supporting and troubleshooting applications, with strong communication and collaboration skills, and a passion for innovation. This team provides 24/7 coverage of a scheduling product line, will be monitoring for tickets and application performance, triaging / responding to issues, and notifying on call resources when necessary.
We are seeking talent willing to work the following shifts:
路 4pm – 12am Monday through Sunday
路 12am – 8am Monday through Sunday
路 8am – 4pm Saturday and Sunday and Holidays
Required Education: Bachelor聮s Degree or higher
Required Years of Experience: 2 years, or 4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
Minimum Qualifications:
路 2+ years’ experience with the Software Development Lifecycle
路 Experience with REACT, Typescript, and Java Web Services
路 Excellent knowledge of software development and user interface web applications
路 Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
路 An ability to understand front-end users聮 requirements and a problem-solving attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
路 Jira, GitHub, Bitbucket, KubernetesAWS Cloud Environments
路 VA or other Federal Government experience
路 Excellent analytical and organization skills
路 Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent team skills.
路 Has high standards, results oriented, and a costumer-centric attitude
Compensation: $90,000-$100,000 annually, plus benefits, including medical/dental/vision coverage, PTO and a partial 401k match.
Vetting: Candidates selected will be subject to a background investigation for clearance eligibility by our government client.
