About the position
This is a temporary part-time support position for a research project funded by the National Institute of Mental Health, focusing on a four-year longitudinal study examining adolescents’ social media use and mental health. The role involves project administration and research support, requiring effective collaboration and communication skills, as well as the ability to work under deadlines. The position is flexible, with potential for remote work, and is dependent on grant funding.
Responsibilities
• Maintain and file forms and documents related to the project.

• Interact regularly with the principal investigator.

• Attend project and lab meetings and organize meeting notes.

• Track undergraduate research assistants’ lab hours.
,
• Assist with recruitment material such as flyers and consent forms.
,
• Assist with data collection material including surveys and participant communications.

• Assist with data labeling and tagging.
Requirements
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse communities and backgrounds.

• General computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software.

• Ability to work under deadlines with general guidance.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Effective oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to work with adolescents and their families.
Nice-to-haves
• Four-year college degree in social science studies or related field.
