Job Summary:
Position will work remotely from home office. Will come to St. Louis, MO office for training and periodic meetings and events.
Will work set hours, 20 hours a week; 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM Mon – Fri.
Provides accurate and efficient data entry support to the Global Operations department. Uses a broad knowledge base of systems and processes to accurately and efficiently enter authorizations for services from clients. Exhibits excellent attention to detail, has great follow-through, and can work autonomously. Possesses great logic and problem-solving skills.
Essential Functions:
• Performs ongoing monitoring of several email boxes to receive authorizations for service from our clients.
• Enters authorizations for service in the system in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ensures we receive the appropriate information for the authorization; follows up when information is missing or unclear.
• Maintains open lines of communication with internal stakeholders, proactively informing others of circumstances or situations they need to be aware of.
• Maintains data entry requirements by following procedures and guidelines.
• Verifies entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or re-entering data when needed.
• Communicates with client contacts via phone and email to clarify information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Ability to actively listen and comprehend, ask appropriate questions, and use reasoning to form conclusions, identify problems, and find solutions.
• Highly organized multi-tasker with great time management skills and the ability to prioritize.
• Able to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Home office set-up with space for dual monitors.
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma required with further educational training in administrative and/or support functions preferred.
• Sufficient skill in typing at least 45 words per minute accurately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and comprehension skills. Must have good writing skills to compose professional and error-free emails to contacts at our client companies.
• Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• CRM/Database proficiency is a plus.
