Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure seamless scheduling for our pediatric clients, enhancing the efficiency of our home healthcare services.

We strongly prefer candidates with:
• Experience in scheduling within a healthcare setting or non-medical home care
• Knowledge of Medicaid Waiver Programs, such as GAPP and NOW/COMP
• Home healthcare industry experience

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and maintain schedules for pediatric home healthcare services, ensuring timely and effective client care.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to manage appointments and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Maintain accurate records of client schedules, updates, and changes using our scheduling system.
• Communicate proactively with clients and caregivers to confirm appointments and provide updates.
• Monitor caregiver availability and ensure optimal coverage for client needs.
• Address incoming calls and inquiries about scheduling, services, and availability.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Medicaid waiver program requirements.
• Prepare reports on scheduling efficiency, caregiver utilization, and related metrics.
• You may be asked to complete some office admin tasks as well

Qualifications
• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in scheduling or administrative roles, ideally in home healthcare.
• Familiarity with Medicaid waiver programs, such as GAPP, is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in scheduling software, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
