Working independently on an as-needed basis and exercising good judgement and discretion, the position of Part-Time Transfer Evaluator is responsible for administering a comprehensive system of transcript evaluating for domestic and international students to help the institution reach transfer enrollment goals. They also process residential and online registration requests and other various tasks… in accordance with university policy.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
• Evaluates unofficial and official domestic and international transfer coursework for equivalencies to Liberty University and awards applicable transfer credit.
• Must be familiar with the academics and accreditation of domestic and international institutions.
• Maintains 24-hour turnaround times and adjust accordingly for other departmental needs based upon current workload.
• Process and have a comprehensive understanding of the policies and procedures related to official and unofficial withdrawals.
• Assist with the processing of registration requests, such as add/drop requests, course withdrawals, late-adds, section switches and grade changes.
• Works effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s mission.
• Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications, Credentials, And Competencies
BachelorÂ’s degree required with experience in Registrar and academic functions. Strong computer skills, including an operational knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required. Well-developed verbal and written communications skills. Must be fully proficient in all academic processes and regulations as they apply to students.
