Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:
– Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
– Provide product information and demonstrate product features
– Assist customers with product selection and offer recommendations
– Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers or other electronic devices
– Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
– Restock merchandise to ensure availability for customers
– Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
– Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends
Experience:
– Previous experience in a customer service oriented position is a plus -Previous experience stocking and restocking merchandise is a plus.
-Previous experience as a cashier is a plus.
– Strong customer service skills and pleasant personality, friendly, outgoing
Skills:
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-Friendly, outgoing personality – treating customers & other employees in a professional and positive manner.
– Ability to provide outstanding customer service
– Proficient in operating cash registers and other point-of-sale systems
– Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
– Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
