AMEX Assurance Co. (AAC) provides insurance protection for Amex Card Members through implicit card benefits, and fee/add-on insurance products to both Card Members and non-Card Members. This is a role within the Partner Claims and Operations team of AAC whose primary responsibilities include service delivery of the end-to-end insurance experience (enrollment, servicing, and adjudication) for policies and claims; this role will support vendor partner operations by analyzing data related to third-party risk associated with car rental and travel insurance claims process, with a focus on communication by analyzing customer commentary and providing in-depth and timely feedback directly to the partner claims team. As a member of the team, you will provide insurance claims expertise, research, execution, coordination, and general support to the operations groups across several key areas: day-to-day operations, performance management, initiatives/projects, and issue management/resolution. The successful candidate will be a detailed strategic problem solver with strong analytical skills, who can see the big picture and package up powerful insights to influence decision making.

In addition, this individual should thrive at independently implementing actionable innovations in ‘results driven manner, and be a strong relationship builder who takes a consultative approach to assessing and meeting stakeholders’ needs. How will you make an impact in this role. The Claims Project Analyst will: Analyze partner data and performance metrics Drive project activities to support AAC Coordinate policy and procedure updates, including operational training, implementation, and reporting Monitor feedback, claim inventory, complaints, and escalations Approve insurance related transactions (insurance cancellations, premium refunds, over limit, etc.) Create/review/monitor partner invoices Manage project logs to supervise open issues and initiatives Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 3 years insurance claims and risk management experience Currently hold an active Claims Examiner license (or willingness to obtain/renew within the first three months) Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with internal and external partner stakeholders Ability to build and leverage relationships with vendor, leaders, and business associations Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of the organization Ability to work efficiently in fast paced environments while managing multiple deliverables and conflicting priorities Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, including data validation and analysis, formula use, pivot tables and visual aids Strong organizational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications: Project management experience Strong knowledge of auto insurance policies, coverage and claims handling practices Insurance regulatory experience Previous automobile claims handling experience Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition
