Job Summary:

Join the Global Corporate Issues & Media Relations (GCIMR) team at Amazon in a temporary role that plays a crucial part in a dynamic media strategy team. The GCIMR team oversees corporate issues and reactive media relations, offering strategic PR guidance on emerging challenges that could affect Amazon’s operations, brand, or reputation. As a key member of this team, you will engage with the news media daily, act as an on-the-record spokesperson, and proactively identify potential issues for senior leaders at Amazon.

Responsibilities:
• Route media inquiries to appropriate subject matter experts
• Manage team data efficiently
• Track relevant metrics associated with media relations

Qualifications:
• Four-year college degree
• Preferred 1-2 years’ experience in the communications industry
• Proficiency in data analysis
