JOB SUMMARY
VisionÂ’s Radiology Assistants provide administrative support for the CompanyÂ’s diagnostic radiology clinical staff, clients, and technical support team.
• Please Note: This is a Remote Night-Shift Role; Weekends will apply
Part-Time Flex position (8-10 hours minimum per week, plus coverage as needed)
This part-time role is designed for individuals who are looking for a part-time position with the opportunity for additional hours each month. This role will receive 8-10 hours of scheduled shift work but with the possibility of additional hours to provide coverage for other team members or when additional capacity is needed. You’ll have the flexibility to work around your other commitments while providing much-needed support to the team.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Accept safety and quality of patient care, treatment, and services as a responsibility and priority
• Responsible for answering phone calls from hospitals during peak hours
• Assist with resolving client questions/concerns that do not require a radiologist
• Notify Radiologists or appropriate Vision staff member (if applicable) with client questions to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner
• Re-fax any studies that client cannot locate
• Work with our data centers to troubleshoot any exams that are not coming through
• Minor trouble shooting with our clients
• Reach out to appropriate contact at hospitals to gather information that may have been left out of information sent over to Vision for review
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to work evening/night shift required
• Prior work experience in an administrative or customer service role preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Medical/Healthcare experience is required; Technologist experience preferred but not required
