What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Handle inbound calls to respond to consumer inquiries and issues
– Provide education and updates on previously submitted pre-authorizations or pre-determination requests
– Meet performance goals related to efficiency, call quality, customer satisfaction, first-call resolution, and attendance
– Own and resolve customer issues effectively
– Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy during customer interactions
What is Required (Qualifications):
– Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience with the same employer
– High School diploma or equivalent
– Goal-driven and detail-oriented mindset
– Must be available to work at least one weekend day
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– Bilingual in English and Spanish
– Previous experience in a healthcare-related customer service role
– Familiarity with healthcare pre-authorization processes
– Strong problem-solving skills
– Ability to work flexible shifts between 10 am and 11 pm
