In this position, you will play a critical role in supporting healthcare providers by ensuring that patients receive the necessary prescription coverage. Initially, your responsibilities will involve managing incoming faxes, followed by transitioning to phone… calls within a collaborative call center environment. Please be advised that candidates must reside in Massachusetts to comply with company policy. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $18.75 per hour, with comprehensive onsite training for the first month prior to transitioning to a remote work setup.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and process incoming faxes containing information from healthcare providers, patients, and medications.
• Verify that all essential information is complete, including dates of birth and medication dosages.
• Proactively follow up with providers to obtain any missing data.
• Enter data accurately to confirm prescription coverage.
• Handle around 20 inbound calls daily to verify and gather the same information.
Required Skills
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in customer service, preferably within a call center setting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication abilities.
• Proficient in managing both fax and phone communications efficiently.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
