Remote Customer Service Representative (CSR) – Join Our Team
Overview
We are looking for a committed and dependable Remote Customer Service Representative to become a vital part of our team. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries from policyholders, explaining policy coverage, updating claim statuses, assisting with claim payments, and providing additional policy information. You will primarily handle inbound calls from policyholders and authorized third parties, focusing solely on customer service without any sales responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a significant volume of inbound calls, averaging between 70-120 calls daily.
• Maintain effective communication with policyholders, providers, and third parties.
• Stay informed about new and updated procedures regarding policy information.
• Ensure customer needs are met in every interaction, whether conducted via phone, email, or written correspondence.
• Meet established department standards for call volume, average call handling time, and effective time management.
Required Skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office.
• Capable of typing at a minimum speed of 30 words per minute.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and perform efficiently under pressure.
Qualifications
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-volume call center or similar role where daily phone interaction is essential.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preference for individuals with remote work experience, although not mandatory.
• A reliable internet connection with at least 20 Mbps upload and download speed (hard-wired connection is necessary).
• Possession of a smartphone to access the VPN.
• Experience in the insurance industry is advantageous but not required.
• A quiet and professional home office environment is required.

Location:
This role is fully remote, welcoming candidates from across the nation, with some exceptions.
Training
• A full-time training program lasting 2-3 weeks will be conducted (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST).
• Availability for training during the weekdays between 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM CST is required.
Post-Training Schedule
• Following training, you will work 40 hours per week on a Monday-Friday schedule, with no weekend shifts unless overtime is available.
Equipment
• A smartphone is required for VPN access, with all other necessary equipment provided by the company.
