Position Title: Instructional Support Assistant – Early Childhood Education (Remote)

Key Responsibilities
• Support the learning environment by collaborating with lead teachers to facilitate effective educational experiences.
• Provide targeted assistance through small group and one-on-one instruction, reinforcing core concepts and supporting student understanding.
• Help uphold classroom management by fostering a structured and focused atmosphere, promoting positive behavior, and ensuring adherence to school policies.
• Track and document student progress to identify those needing additional intervention and support.
• Collaborate with special educators and other support personnel to implement necessary accommodations and strategies for diverse learners.
• Engage with families through effective communication, participating in meetings and contributing to student success plans.
• Supervise students during transitions and various activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all.
• Demonstrate adaptability by responding to changes in learning modalities, including shifts between in-person and remote instruction.
• Commit to professional development through participation in opportunities designed to enhance teaching skills and strategies.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of college education.
• Experience working with children in classroom or educational settings.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, ESL, Special Education, or related fields.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish, Haitian Creole, Cape Verdean Creole) are an advantage.
