As a Residential Daily Claims Adjuster at our carrier client you will be responsible for the timely and effective handling of homeowner claims. YouÂ’ll play a critical role in investigating claims, evaluating damages, and ensuring fair and prompt resolutions in line with company procedures and applicable laws.
Key Responsibilities…
• Claims Management: Review, analyze, and process first-party homeowner and dwelling property claims within assigned authority limits, ensuring high-quality service to customers.
• Policy and Coverage Analysis: Conduct thorough investigations to determine coverage, liability, and damages, and document findings for claim resolution.
• Customer Service: Provide superior verbal and written communication to all insureds, delivering exceptional service throughout the claims process.
• Fraud Detection: Examine claims for potential fraud and refer cases to the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) as appropriate.
• Collaboration and Training: Participate in Claim Roundtables, training sessions, and special projects to continuously improve claim handling processes.
What YouÂ’ll Bring
• Experience: Minimum of three years of experience handling property claims.
• Communication Skills: Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and concise information.
• Technical Proficiency: Excellent typing and computer skills, with a keen eye for detail and organization in a fast-paced environment.
• Licenses: Must have Florida Adjuster License – All Lines (620)
• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, though significant experience in homeowner claims will be considered. Insurance designations such as AIC, CPCU, SCLA are a plus
