We are a well established travel company and we are looking for an experienced, dynamic, travel industry professional to lead our inside sales team. The Reservations Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales of a team of Europe specialists while supporting the goals of the entire Inside Sales Department.
What You Will Be Doing…
• Actively manage and support a sales team and drive performance to achieve goals.
• Work towards meeting weekly/monthly/annual targets, track all agent metrics and individual progress towards company goals.
• Lead 1:1 meetings for direct reports to include performance reviews and coaching sessions.
• Participate in department meetings and training.
• Collaborate with peers to identify and improve processes to positively impact the team.
• Drive customer experience and remain available to resolve service issues directly with our partners.
• Assist management with daily duties in their absence.
• Work on the emergency duty rotation team, which includes being on-call for approximately one weekend per 2 to 3 months, while adhering to our emergency duty operational standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For:
• Five+ years of successful sales experience in the Travel Industry and ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Europe and the UK.
• Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach.
• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with all levels of employees.
• Call center experience desirable.
• A college degree in Tourism Management or related field strongly desired.
• Highly focused on internal and external customer solutions and satisfaction.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products, reservations systems, Salesforce, HubSpot and GDS, preferably Amadeus.
