Duration: Temporary (up to 6 months depending on performance and business needs)

Pay Rate: $21/ hr

Shifts: 8AM EST – 5PM EST / 10AM EST – 7PM EST

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Specialist with a strong background in retirement plan services to join our team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will be responsible for resolving inquiries, offering guidance, and executing instructions to ensure our clients receive top-notch service. Your expertise in retirement plans, financial acumen, strong communication skills, and commitment to excellence will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone regarding transfer agency services, including account transfers, shareholder transactions, and account maintenance.
• Deliver first-class inbound client service in every interaction as part of our Fund Services operations.
• Communicate complex information clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Analyze data to identify solutions to client inquiries and issues, demonstrating exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Resolve client issues or provide the best alternative solutions, ensuring a seamless client experience.
• Maintain comprehensive records of client interactions, inquiries, and recommendations in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments relevant to retirement plans and investment banking operations.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development activities to enhance your knowledge and skills.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including financial advisors, portfolio managers, and estate planning specialists, to address client needs and coordinate service delivery.

Qualifications:
• At least 2+ years of previous customer service experience, preferably in the global financial services industry with exposure to retirement plan services and treasury management.
• Experience supporting retirement plan pay-outs, servicing retirement plans, etc.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Excel and MS Word.

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience in brokerage operations, accounting, finance, economics, investment banking, or capital markets.
