Job Summary:
The Senior Capture Manager will lead strategic business development efforts within the Federal Healthcare sector, focusing on identifying, pursuing, and winning large-scale government contracts. This role involves managing the entire capture lifecycle, from opportunity identification to proposal submission, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of capture management within the Federal Healthcare space, experience working with agencies such as the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Health and Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and an in-depth understanding of federal procurement processes. This position is remote but requires candidates to be located in DC/VA/MD.
Responsibilities:
• Capture Strategy Development:
• Lead the development of capture strategies for Federal Healthcare opportunities, ensuring alignment with corporate growth goals.
• Work with internal teams… to define win themes, competitive analysis, pricing strategies, and risk mitigation plans.
• Engage with key stakeholders to identify potential partners and subcontractors.
• Opportunity Identification:
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the Federal Healthcare space, focusing on agencies such as VA, HHS, CMS, FDA, and NIH.
• Conduct market research to assess industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
• Proposal Management:
• Collaborate with proposal managers and subject matter experts to develop high-quality, compliant, and compelling proposals.
• Provide guidance and oversight on proposal strategy, technical solution development, and pricing.
• Customer and Partner Engagement:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key government clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.
• Actively engage with customers to understand requirements and positioning for future opportunities.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead cross-functional teams, including business development, technical experts, and proposal teams, to ensure capture efforts are executed successfully.
• Mentor and coach junior capture managers and business development staff.
• Risk Management:
• Identify potential risks in pursuit of opportunities and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Ensure compliance with all federal regulations and contract requirements.
$120,000 – $160,000 a year
