We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our Linux Systems Group (LSG), responsible for the Linux operating system platform that powers Azure, from VMs and containers to bare metal and silicon, both in the cloud and edge environments. In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineering leaders to define and customize the virtualization platform for various use cases… work with upstream project leaders on innovations, and engage large customers on hardware and software requirements. You will also ensure operational excellence through established processes and rhythm of business. Compensation and Benefits
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD (117,200 – )229,200 per year. In specific locations such as the San Francisco Bay and New York City metropolitan areas, the range is USD (153,600 – )250,200 per year. Certain roles may also be eligible for additional benefits and compensation.

• Strong product/service/project/program management skills.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with customers and engineering leaders to define customer needs and track industry trends for Linux virtualization strategy across Cloud and Edge.
• Lead the delivery of Linux Virtualization to multiple Linux distributions, including Azure Linux.
• Champion customer success and lead from the front during incidents.
• Become a subject matter expert in Linux virtualization.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years’ experience managing cross-functional projects.
• Experience working with cloud environments and large-scale deployments.
• Strong relationship management and presentation skills.
