Compensation: $20-$28/hour; based on experience
3×3 Bookkeeping is a fast-growing, boutique bookkeeping firm based in the arts district in Northeast Minneapolis that provides virtual bookkeeping services to small businesses nationwide. We are on the lookout for a part-time experienced bookkeeper who is ready to jump right into QuickBooks Online when they join our team!

The Role:
Are you a detail-oriented, proactive and experienced bookkeeper looking for an opportunity to have a flexible work schedule, work with cool, independently owned small businesses, and grow with a dynamic bookkeeping firm? While accuracy and attention to detail are a must in this role, this is not a mundane data-entry type of position- we are looking for someone with as much heart for this work and our clients as we have!
As our future bookkeeper, you will work on a portfolio of clients, while intimately getting to know them and their businesses. We focus on building relationships with our clients it helps us help them when we know them and their lives. This position is part-time, fully remote, and is expected to be around 3-8 hours per week to start, with the capacity to grow as we grow. Hours may be heavier towards the beginning of the month and lighter towards the end of the month.

Responsibilities Include:
While your tasks will vary day to day, we have built-in, recurring deadlines that will need to be met. We keep routine, but avoid the mundane ๐Ÿ™‚
Record bank, credit card, and merchant account information in the general ledger via bank feeds in our client’s accounting software (QBO or Xero)
Work with clients to obtain necessary information and supporting documents
Accounts receivable and accounts payable
Bank, credit card, merchant account, clearing account, and other balance sheet account reconciliations
Follow up on open receivables
Create payroll journal entries
Troubleshoot various software integrations (Xero, QBO, Hubdoc, Square, Stripe, Bill.com, etc)
Keep client files organized digitally
Regular communication with 3×3 owner and colleagues
What we re looking for:

Two years of bookkeeping experience using cloud accounting software, managing multiple clients preferred
Education or continuing education in accounting or bookkeeping preferred
Ability to take ownership, while realizing when it s time to reach out for help
Strong excel skills
A love for technology and intuitive computer skills
You believe in the mission of 3×3 and want to play a role in the growth of the firm
Professional experience working in a multi-client environment
Fluency in QuickBooks. If you know Xero, that s also a plus!
Ability to independently prioritize and multitask
Strong organizational skills.
Client-facing communication skills.
Deadline and detail-orientation; keeps commitments!
Previous experience working remotely.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Being a Creative yourself, as we work with creatives we think sharing that vibe with our clients goes a long way when tackling their numbers.
Good interpersonal skills, personal integrity, and emotional regulation
Experience with Hubdoc, Melio, Keeper, Bill.com, or Bookkeep is a huge plus!!

A webcam and audio for clear communication. Zoom meetings, including screen share, will be required.
You must be able to sit (or use a standing workstation) and work at a computer for 8 hours a day (flexible hours) and sometimes longer may be required. You must also be able to engage in data entry and typing information into computer files and logs.
