Job Summary
The Solution Engineer Intern will support the sales team by assisting in the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. This role provides hands-on experience with enterprise software demonstrations, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration. As an intern, you will gain exposure to FacilityForce solutions, learn about the sales process, and develop technical and presentation skills while contributing to real-world business outcomes.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Product Familiarization: Learn about the FacilityForce product suite and assist in demonstrating its key features and benefits.
• Demo Preparation: Support the development of tailored product demonstrations by gathering requirements and customizing presentations based on customer needs.
• Technical Support: Assist with data setup, configuration, and troubleshooting for demo environments.
• Customer Interaction: Participate in client meetings, presentations, and webinars to observe and support the sales process.
• Market & Competitor Research: Conduct research on industry trends and competitive solutions to strengthen product positioning.
• CRM & Documentation: Help maintain sales records in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and document client interactions and feedback.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to gain exposure to various business functions.
• Event Participation: Assist in preparing for marketing events, product webinars, and industry conferences as needed.
Required Skills And Qualifications
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in enterprise software, technology solutions, and the sales process.
• Basic understanding of databases, SQL, and enterprise applications (preferred but not required).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Eagerness to learn and take initiative.
Preferred Experience (Nice To Have But Not Required)
• Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce.
• Exposure to software solutions such as CMMS, CAFM, or IWMS.
• Prior experience in software, sales, or technology.
Additional Details
• Internship Duration: 3-6 months
• Location: remote with reimbursable travel to client/prospect sites
• Compensation: $17/hr
• Travel: Moderate (up to 50%, depending on events and opportunities).
