Primary Responsibilities:

• Student Support: Provide individualized and group instruction targeting academic, social, and behavioral objectives.
Requirements:
• Certification: Must hold a valid Special Education Teacher certification; specific endorsements such as SPEED (Special Education Endorsement) may be required depending on location.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Special Education Teacher, with a solid grasp of diverse learning needs and effective instructional methods.
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
• Qualities: Patience, empathy, and a dedicated commitment to supporting students with special needs.
• Adaptability: Capable of adjusting instructional strategies to accommodate varying student needs and classroom dynamics.
• Problem-Solving: Proficient in addressing educational and behavioral challenges with innovative solutions.
