Key Responsibilities
Individualized Instruction: Design and implement customized educational programs tailored to each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).
IEP Management: Lead and actively participate in IEP meetings, working collaboratively with parents, therapists, and other educators to establish and evaluate educational goals.
Student Assessment: Use digital tools to assess student progress, adapt instructional strategies as needed, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
Collaborative Engagement: Partner closely with general educators, support staff, and therapists to ensure a cohesive and well-rounded educational experience for students.
Family Communication: Keep open lines of communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and strategies for supporting learning at home.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
Certification: Valid Kansas teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
Experience: At least three years of experience in a special education setting, with a preference for those who have experience in remote or virtual teaching.
Skills: Proficiency in using educational technology, excellent communication and organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of special education practices.

Work Environment
Remote Position: Requires a home office setup equipped with the necessary technology and reliable internet access for professional virtual instruction.
